English language requirement: 

Students whose first language is not English will need to show proof of English language proficiency.

Interim awards: B.A. Degree

Assessment: Research Thesis

The Muslim College London invites students who would like to develop their knowledge and understanding of the Islamic world and knowledge, together with the research skills necessary to carry out independent primary research work to a high academic standards. Students will be well placed to pursue an M-Phil or further research in a PhD in Islamic studies.

All applicants should apply inittally at Apply Now and then submit a workable and relevant research proposal and demonstrate that they have the required academic knowledge and skills to carry out their project.

Those students who are enrolled in an MPhil in Islamic Studies and wish to continue to the PhD programme will be required to obtain an upgrade status at their MPhil viva and satisfy any pre-existing requirements also set by the Muslim Management Committee, i.e. English language requirement.

Admission is at the discretion of the Muslim College Management Committee, which judges each applicant on their own merits and in accordance with its own set of rules and regulations.
