Dr Salah Al Ansari

Salah al-Ansari is a Senior Researcher in Theology and a lecturer in Islamic studies Muslim College London. Salah worked as a visiting Lecturer in Islamic Studies at Heythrop College, University of London where he produced a PhD on Muhammad Abu Zahra and Islamic Modernism. He is a graduate in Classical and Modern Islamic Studies from Al-Azhar University, Cairo. Sheikh Salah was appointed an Imam and teacher at the Central London Mosque and then worked in a number of mosques in London, Margate, Woking and Basingstoke, where he has led extensive inter-faith activities on national and international levels. Salah is featured in Arabic and mainstream media outlets including BBC Arabic TV, Sky New Arabic, France 24, TRT, Aljazeera, al-Ghad al-Arabi, BBC Radio 4, the Independent and The Times.
